Rental agreement
The rental is automatically governed by the following general conditions.
By confirming a booking, the tenant agrees to occupy the property personally, to use it responsibly, and to maintain it in good condition, as a “good housekeeper”.
All equipment and appliances are considered to be in working order at the time of arrival. Any complaint must be reported within 24 hours after check-in. After this period, no claims regarding the condition of the property will be accepted.
Any repairs required due to negligence, misuse, or improper handling of the property or its equipment will be at the tenant’s expense. The tenant also agrees to respect the quietness of the neighborhood and avoid any disturbance.
Inventory and condition of the property
The accommodation is rented fully furnished and equipped, including kitchen utensils, crockery, glassware, blankets, and pillows, as described in the attached inventory list.
At the end of the stay, the landlord or representative reserves the right to charge:
- Cleaning costs if the property is not left in a reasonable condition
- Replacement or repair costs for any broken, damaged, soiled, or missing items
- Cleaning fees for stained or damaged textiles (blankets, curtains, carpets, etc.)
- Repair or replacement costs for any damage to furniture, walls, ceilings, windows, or other elements of the property
Any misuse of equipment beyond its intended purpose may also be charged accordingly.
Insurance and liability
The tenant confirms having valid civil liability insurance covering rental risks (including fire and water damage).
If no insurance is held, the tenant remains fully responsible for any damages and associated costs.
The landlord is responsible for insuring the property itself.
The tenant agrees to inform the landlord within 24 hours of any damage occurring in the property, annexes, or surrounding buildings.
The tenant must allow access to the property to the landlord or their representative upon reasonable request.
Cancellation policy
The following cancellation conditions apply:
- Cancellation between 30 and 0 days before arrival: 100% of the total rental amount will be charged
Non-payment and breach of contract
In the event of non-payment of rent or additional charges (electricity, water, gas, telephone, taxes, or any agreed fees), or failure to comply with any term of the agreement:
- A written reminder will be issued
- If no response or payment is received within 8 days, the landlord reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement immediately
