Discover FRI UMA GRON
Artist Residencies in the UNESCO GEOPARK
“Le Parc Naturel Régional des Monts d’Ardèche, France”
Welcome to La Fontanita, an independent, not-for-profit artist residency program dedicated to nurturing personal growth as a pathway to artistic excellence. Founded by the talented musician, personal coach, and painter Francine van Dam, this unique haven is lovingly referred to as her QUEENDOM. She invented the word FRI UMA GRON, meaning “Free Woman’s Land” in Sranantongo (the language of Suriname).
This is an invitation for all who resonate with the impact of patriarchy, regardless of gender, to join us in this transformative space. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking natural beauty that surrounds you, offering endless inspiration for both your artistic and personal journeys.
